My paid work has focused largely on shooting commercial facilities such as hotels and senior living communities (inlcuding some interiors), and cityscapes surrounding those facilities. I also shoot a fair amount of travel and nature related imagery.

My primary drone of choice is the DJI Mavic 3 Cine—a top-tier option for capturing stunning stills and cinematic video. Its Hasselblad camera features a large 4/3 CMOS sensor, which delivers exceptional low-light performance, enhanced dynamic range, and very high resolution photos. The adjustable aperture adds creative flexibility, allowing for precise control in a wide range of lighting conditions.

When it comes to video, the Mavic 3 Cine doesn’t disappoint. It records at resolutions up to 5.1K at 50fps and 4K at 120fps, giving you plenty of room to crop, reframe, or create smooth slow-motion footage without compromising quality. In addition to its imaging capabilities, this drone stands out for its robust safety features, including full 360° obstacle avoidance, and an extended flight time and long flight range that make it a reliable tool even for demanding shoots.

For added versatility, I also carry the DJI Mini 4 Pro. Despite its compact size, this drone is remarkably capable. It's perfect for indoor use or navigating tight spaces, all while delivering high-quality imagery that complements footage from larger drones.

With a background as a Creative Director at a top Chicago marketing agency, I’ve led hundreds of photo and video shoots for clients across a wide range of industries. When aerial imagery became a growing need for our clients, I earned my FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot License and began capturing high-quality drone footage that elevated our creative work—literally.

Since then, I’ve provided professional drone photography and videography for everything from real estate and tourism to branded content and commercial campaigns.
