I have been flying with another company called DroneBase since April 2017, also. My experience includes real estate photography, roof inspection for insurance adjusters, and large property photography for construction. I am also looking into cell tower inspection, and powerline/pipeline inspection.
I only provide raw photos/footage. This is primarily because clients that I've worked with have wanted to preserve the GPS location data on the pictures, which is lost if the footage is edited or resized. The GPS location data is important, because it shows proof of where the picture was taken, and can be used to audit a pilot to see if they're taking duplicate photos, etc., that they shouldn't be doing. I may or may not decide on editing in the future.
I fly the DJI Phantom 4 Pro+. The Pro + has an integrated display, and uses the DJI Go app; it doesn't make use of 3rd-party apps, but does have very useful features that have helped me with very steady shots, and precise GPS navigation for shot placement over large properties.
This model has been very reliable, takes great pictures with a 20mp/4k video camera, and setup for flight takes only about 2 and a half minutes.
Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
I went to Spartan College of Aeronautics (formerly School of Aeronautics when I went); while there, I earned my Private Pilot, Commercial Pilot, Instrument, and Multi-Engine Commercial Pilot certificates.
I earned my Certified Flight Instructor (CFI) certificate through a course at Riverside Flight Center located near Spartan's campus at KRVS. I didn't have many opportunities to get a career as a pilot going for various life reasons, however the same cannot be said after getting my Part 107 certificate for drone flying.
I've been flying with DroneBase since April 2017, and have done many jobs with them; these have included real estate photography, roof inspection for insurance adjusters, and large property photography for construction.
