About Me

Shawn Lynch is Owner, Pilot, and Advanced Ground Instructor of DOK.1. A lifelong aviator, he earned his Private Pilot License in 1998. Shawn has 23 years of military and civilian aviation experience, including US Air Force, airline, business and general aviation (GA), plus remote pilot. He has been an aviation instructor (military and civilian since 2010), and is a graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Shawn is a firm believer in the opportunities and benefits that the advances in drone and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) are fostering. He is passionate about sharing these capabilities and benefits with the flying and business community. A part from flying, Shawn is a devoted husband and father. He enjoys traveling and the outdoors, especially hiking, camping, and kayaking.
