If you are thinking about a drone, my Mavic Air 2 is the one to get right now. Its camera, with the 4K60 capability and 48MP sensor, is way better than any other drone in this price range. Its 34-minute flight time 10km OcuSync 2.0 range are also killer features. DJI has increased the flight time even while increasing weight. The Mavic Air 2 weighs 570 grams (1.26 pounds).
It achieves 68.4 kilometers per hour (42.5 miles per hour). It can shoot in 4K at 60 frames per second. The new camera also records video at 120 Mbps bitrate (up from 100 Mbps). Additionally, the camera can capture 1080p slow-motion video at 120 and 240 fps.
SmartPhoto: Pilots can choose this new feature, and using advanced scene recognition technology, Mavic Air 2 will optimize the camera settings and automatically choose one of three modes to apply. General scene recognition (including grass, trees, sunsets, snow) or HyperLight for low-light scenes where the camera takes several images of varying exposure and merges them for a high-quality image with low noise or an HDR image. 48MP mode is not available when using SmartPhoto.
8K HyperLapse: Mavic Air 2 is the first done to feature 8K Hyperlapse for stunning footage to share with the world. Users can additionally choose lower resolutions including 4K, 2.7K, and 1080. Note that 8K Hyperlapse will be available in mid-May 2020 via a firmware update.
A Suite of HDR Features: Mavic Air 2 is preprogrammed with a suite of HDR features including HDR video and HDR panorama. HDR video max resolution is 4K 30fps.
34 Minutes of flight time: Combining updates in battery technology, weight of the drone, an aerodynamic design, new motors/ESCs, the Mavic Air 2 features a max flight time of 34 minutes. Please note, due to the way drones are designed, longer flight times are achieved when the drone is in motion vs. hovering.
APAS: Mavic Air 2 features the latest and most advanced autonomous flying from DJI. APAS 3.0 uses new mapping technology and flight path algorithms for ultra-smooth transitions around, under or over objects in the drone’s path.
FocusTrack: Pilots can choose from three new modes to capture cinematic footage with a subject locked in the frame.
ActiveTrack 3.0: Pilots can select a subject for Mavic Air 2 to automatically follow, helping operators easily record compelling content. In the third iteration, the updated ActiveTrack feature uses state-of-the-art mapping technology and new flight path algorithms to offer improved subject recognition and obstacle avoidance, along with the ability to quickly re-engage the subject if it temporarily moves behind an object. 4K 30fps is the max resolution when using ActiveTrack.
What characteristics make me your perfect choice:
#1. Calm & Collected
Flying a drone is a stressful and risky job. This means that there will be many times where unexpected events happen; I can always handle situations calmly, and I quickly find a solution to be successful.
In addition, I know how to handle -the right way- the stress of captivating the attention from bystanders or employees, which attract a wide variety of personality types approaching me while I am flying.
#2. Detailed Oriented
For me being detailed oriented is a MUST as a drone pilot. I conduct flights with all the safety procedures and pre, during, and post-flight checklists. I am very meticulous in my flight routine, and I am not afraid to sacrifice a few extra minutes on-site for the safety of others around me.
#3 Organized
I always make sure my operation is organized. More often than not, jobs will be quite a bit of traveling from where I reside. I am organized with my flight tracking and especially equipment. I believe in organization as a lifesaver in my commercial piloting responsibility.
#4 Decisive
I am decisive as a pilot, an I make sure I do not cause much more harm in the event of an accident or any other sort of turbulence while conducting drone flights. I trust my instincts and I take the best action to keep myself, others, and the equipment around me safe and intact.
#5 Prepared
I am prepared when it comes to laws and regulations surrounding piloting drones.
I am aware of all the regulations as a pilot; my drones are registered, and I passed the FAA Part 107 Exam and have received my Drone License, which I keep with me at all times when flying.
